TikTok

The platform allows monitoring profiles and searches on TikTok, on which the last can be hashtags or terms.

The search key can be written in two ways:

1. To collect profiles

To collect from a TikTok profile, insert the URL to the profile of your interest. For example, to track the Sentimonitor profile on TikTok, register the URL:

https://www.tiktok.com/@sentimonitor

2. To collect posts regarding a topic

The search collection allows you to use hashtags or words. Searches examples:

#cocacola
pepsi
pepsi coca cola

TikTok does not offer advanced search options for OR, AND, and NOT operators, returning only posts containing the search terms. Long phrases are also not supported, and TikTok may return videos with the terms in a different order than the one specified in the search.
